Deaf Pickleball Brackets ("DPB") is operated by PickleUnlimited. This policy covers deafpickleballbrackets.com and dpbrackets.com. Your account is shared across PickleUnlimited products (DPR, DPB, DPL).

2. What We Collect

Account information

Name, email, password (hashed). Shared across PickleUnlimited.

Registration data

Tournament registrations, category preferences, partner selections, payment status.

Tournament data

Bracket results, scores, match outcomes. Shared with DPR for rating calculations.

Payment information

Processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Emergency contact

Stored securely, accessible only to you and event staff.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Process tournament registrations and payments
  • Display brackets, scores, and results
  • Send match results to DPR for rating calculations
  • Send tournament notifications (if opted in)
  • Improve the service

4. What We Share

Tournament results are shared with DPR for rating calculations. We do not sell your data. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secured data center with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to administrative systems requires multi-factor authentication. All connections use HTTPS/TLS.

6. Your Rights

  • Access — request a copy of your data
  • Correct — update inaccurate information
  • Close account — deactivate profile, remove personal details. Tournament results retained for bracket and rating integrity.
  • Export — receive your data in a portable format

7. Data Retention

Tournament results and bracket data are retained permanently for community integrity. Personal details are removed upon account closure. This is consistent with how other tournament platforms handle player data.

8. Cookies

DPB uses essential cookies for authentication only. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

9. All Ages

DPB is a general-audience tournament platform open to players of all ages. Only name and age category are displayed publicly — date of birth is never shown. Players under 18 require guardian consent for registration. Players under 13 require parental consent to create an account.
